The Assessment
To start, we’ll get you in for an initial consultation where we’ll take scans of the current position of your teeth. This will help us determine whether Six Month Smiles is the right treatment for you.
If we’re happy to proceed, we’ll create a plan of action and make arrangements for your brace to be fitted.
The Fitting
Typically, it takes roughly one hour to fit your brace. Each bracket is carefully cemented to its tooth, and the wire is fed through.
The Movement
As soon as we’ve fitted your brace, it starts working its magic. The gentle pressure produced through the tension in the wire will slowly move your teeth toward their new homes.
The Adjustment
Periodically throughout the six-month treatment, we’ll make small adjustments to the tension of the wire. This helps your teeth on their path to smile perfection.
The Change
After a few months of wearing your brace, you’ll start to see a marked difference in your smile. Although you might not be there quite yet, your teeth will be noticeably straighter.
The Removal
After we’re happy that your teeth are in their ideal position, we’ll remove your brace. Finally, it’s just down to you to show off your new smile to the world.
