There are two types of stains. Extrinsic staining is surface level. This milder form can often be dealt with using a combination of the right oral care routine and professional hygiene visits.

The Enlighten Process
Pre-Treatment Prep
Ahead of whitening, we’ll assess your oral health and make sure Enlighten is right for you. Because of the active ingredients, we need to ensure you haven’t got any cavities or other health and lifestyle concerns that could cause problems.
Once we’re happy, we’ll take some impressions of your teeth. This information will be sent to the lab to make your custom whitening trays.
While waiting for the whitening trays, we’ll give you a special toothpaste to use until your treatment starts. The toothpaste contains HAP, a natural mineral that strengthens your enamel and reduces sensitivity during treatment.
From the Comfort
of Your Home
Every night for two weeks, you’ll wear whitening trays. These are essentially mouthguards that hold the whitening gel to your teeth. You can relax, watch TV, read a book, and happily go about your evening with these trays in.
The Icing on the Cake
After the two-week at-home treatment, we’ll get you into the clinic for one final treatment. This will take roughly 45 minutes to an hour, but it’ll noticeably brighten your teeth that bit extra.
