Bernie Allsopp (BDS) graduated from Queens University Belfast in 1988:
As part of her undergraduate course, she took part in a dental elective in Thailand, where she was able to observe alternative techniques to Western Dentistry.
Having completed her studies, Bernie took up the Vocational Trainee post in Curry & Simpsons Dental Practice in Ballymena, working under the guidance of renowned Dental Practitioners, Fiona Simpson and Enda Curry.
She remained here for almost 3 years before setting off to experience Dentistry in Australia, where she combined her passion for Dentistry and travel, by touring the country and working in the Dental Departments of the local hospitals.
Returning home, 3 years later, she took up a permanent position in Fiona Simpsons practice, where she remained for a further 12 years, before taking up a post in Quigley & Martins Dental Practice, further down Broughshane Street, where she then remained until he took up her current post in 2021, working alongside experienced dentists and a very skilful team, that is Galgorm Dental.
